Obverse: Adapted from Adolph A. Weinman’s Mercury Dime design, Lady Liberty’s profile with her hair tucked into the iconic winged Phrygian cap. Inscriptions read “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2017.”
Reverse: Based on the American Institute of Architects’ gold medal from 1907, this design displays an eagle perched on a rock pulling at a laurel branch with its beak and talons. Inscriptions read “UNITED STATES OF AMERIA,” “1 OZ Pd .9995 FINE,” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” The $25 denomination is stamped next to the eagle.
