If you're looking for a unique investment opportunity or a way to add a piece of American history to your collection, Rare & Certified Pre-1933 Numismatic Gold and Silver Coins from Texas Bullion Exchange should be at the top of your list. These coins have survived the test of time and have a fascinating history that makes them highly sought after by collectors and investors alike.

Survived the Meltdown of 1933: One of the reasons why Rare & Certified Pre-1933 Gold and Silver Coins are so special is that they survived the infamous meltdown of 1933. During this time, President Roosevelt issued Executive Order 6102, which required all citizens to turn in their gold coins, bullion, and certificates to the Federal Reserve. This led to the melting down of millions of gold coins, making pre-1933 coins even more rare and valuable today.

Proven Track Records: Rare & Certified Pre-1933 Gold and Silver Coins have a proven track record of holding their value and increasing in worth over time. These coins have been around for decades or even centuries, and their value has remained steady or increased despite fluctuations in the economy and the stock market.

Limited Mintages: Another reason why Rare & Certified Pre-1933 Numismatic Coins are so valuable is that many of them have limited mintages and low populations. This means that there are only a certain number of coins in existence, which makes them highly sought after by collectors and investors.

Wild West History: Many of the Pre-1933 Gold and Silver Coins from Texas Bullion Exchange have a fascinating history tied to the Wild West era. For example, coins may have been owned by famous figures such as Jesse James or Butch Cassidy, adding to their historical significance and value.

Own A Piece of American History: Perhaps the most compelling reason to invest in Pre-1933 Gold and Silver Coins is that they offer a tangible connection to American history. These coins were minted during a time when the United States was still a young and growing nation, and they offer a glimpse into the past and the people who helped shape our country.

In conclusion, Numismatic Pre-1933 Gold and Silver Coins from Texas Bullion Exchange offer a unique investment opportunity and a way to own a piece of American history. These coins have a proven track record, limited mintages, low populations, and a fascinating history that makes them highly sought after by collectors and investors. Texas Bullion Exchange is honored to offer this AMAZING 1857-S $5 Liberty Half Eagle!

This highly lustrous GEM gleams with mint fresh brilliance on both sides accenting the high-end quality surfaces. The strike is razor-sharp, with fully defined devices seen throughout. Even after the recovery of the S.S. Central America, this date remains rare in Mint State condition. The smaller denomination gold coins were likely not stored in the cargo hold, like the larger denomination coins, but in the pockets of passengers and crew. It is interesting to note that the finest known examples of this date sat on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean for nearly 150 years! There were a total of 87,000 $5 Liberty's minted at the San Francisco Mint in 1857. PCGS has only certified 200 total coins across all grades. Out of those 200 coins, 49 were found on the S.S. Central America, and the ONE-AND-ONLY 1857-S $5 Liberty that has been certified as a Proof-Like coin by PCGS or NGC is the coin recently acquired by Texas Bullion Exchange Inc. We would like to wish the new owner a hearty congratulations in advance, you now own a piece of American history from the iconic S.S. Central America.
